Peridot and Abbey Island

It has been two days now, and Peridot Island is still off grid. Not on the map in SL. So this means, we are in limbo. As we demons can not return to our family lair. It was suppose to be a grid update. But we are now wondering, if the sim will ever return.

Questions have pop up about the status of Peridot Island, where the demon lair is located.

Has the sim been abandoned?
Has the tier fees been paid?
When are we going back to the lair?
Will we get our inventory items back?

With all of the above, I have no answer for at this time. As I have not been able to contact Ms. Rhi, and only saw her briefly in world. When she logged off before I had a chance to chat with her. I do hope the sim returns on the grid soon, as a family needs to gather ourselves and continue to foster bonds within the family circle.

Besides, Ms. Rhi and Gavin are scheduled to be married next month on the sim. Maria, a friend of Elizzabeth, has laid out wedding decorations for them. Abandonment is not likely. But still, I would prefer to know the answers from Ms. Rhi herself.

As the fate of Peridot Island hangs up in the air. I took the liberty of looking for another sim for the family to gather. I came upon Abbey Island, an adult sim during my search in world. It’s a sim that welcomes all, but has preferences for demons and she-males.

The sim has a large central Abbey, that resembles the cathedral at Chartres. It contains a dance stage and DJ booth, with assorted pictures of nude women displayed on its walls. The cathedral has since been abandoned and goats have taken over it during the day.

It has a dungeon that has two levels to hold prisoners and slaves. With the lower level which is cold and damp, and has a secret stream tunnel that lends to the outside river, with its entrance hidden by a small waterfall.

Around the island, there is magic, with homes and shops at certain locations. There is also a ship, appears to be abandoned and marooned. With a towering burning wicker man over seeing the bay, just outside the abbey.

I hate to think we would have to leave Peridot Island. But if the sim does not return soon, I will make Abbey Island a permanent home for my demons and corrupted human family.
