Its Your Birthday!

It's been awhile, since I threw a party specifically for someone. Maybe it's the first time I threw a party for someone. Since BJ mentioned her Rez Day, to me. I figured it was a hint we have a party in her honor. And I definitely wanted to give BJ a party. "BJ lets have your Rez Birthday party this week. How about this Friday, after work?" "Sure that will be fine. Thanks Kaboom, I appreciate this."

Friday came, and I set about getting the items I needed for her party. I went on Market Street, and purchased balloons, a birthday card, banners, and most important. A purple yum flavored cake, with black purple flowers on three layers for a touch of class!

I was ready to decorate our second floor for the party. First thing I did, was set the banners out, then the balloons. I opened her big red birthday card, and set it on the floor. Inside, I read "Happy Rez Day. I hope you know how special you are to everyone that knows you." Perfect, just right for BJ!

I went looking for our party table, but could only find a small one. I must have lost the big table when I touch "return items to owner" since leaving the half Sim. So the small table would do, and set a red runner across it, and then her cake. I sent the notice twice that day, making sure family members are aware, and participate with us.

Later, BJ finally logged in world after work. No surprise. As I got some of the family with me, with Stormy and Angel being present. A few arrived later, like Otto my SL brother in demon form, and Yin Mei. But most of all BJ got her friends to join us, since they were not on my friends list, nor in the demon family.

BJ danced to Jenna, and we chatted in local. I got a few annoying IMs during the party. But I could not ignore them. I took care of them as quickly as I could, and returned to local chat. BJ talked about how she and I first meet. She was convinced I was going to eat her. She was right, but I ate her between the legs...not in a cooking pot. Laughs.

The party was well under way of us enjoying ourselves with BJ. Yin asked, "Kaboom, do you still have the stream link to the gothic station?" "Yes, I do...Let me check if its the one I have playing on my land." For some reason, I thought I did. But I placed the correct stream for all to dance with our avatars, and listen to. No wonder she asked me. She is familiar with that stream than I am, since she has it loaded all the time on her land.

Yin gave me a piano, with naughty animation poses with it. I hoped she got something for BJ too. I gave BJ a nice sum of Lindens for her to spend. And I hope its a new nightie I can see her wearing for me sometime this year. We all wished BJ, a very "Happy Rez Day!" I am glad to have known her this long, going with me in my SL adventures. It's the journey on the path that makes it worthwhile in Second Life. And you meet special people like BJ, for company along the way.
